Both the generic and branded versions of Malarone are taken on the same schedule—typically one pill per day.

Does Generic Malarone Affect Blood Pressure?
It’s more common for Malarone to cause low blood pressure, but in rare instances, it can lead to high blood pressure. Hypertension (high blood pressure) can affect your overall health, potentially leading to symptoms like blurred vision and headaches, known as hypertensive retinopathy.
